How to learn Force abilities at Rift Gates in Fortnite

May the Force be with you.

Just in time for May 4, Fortnite and Star Wars have teamed up for a crossover that brings Clone Troopers, Anakin Skywalker, and Padme Amidala into the game. If you're lucky, you might even learn some Force abilities from Anakin. Here's how to do that.

Where to learn Force abilities in Fortnite

Throughout the crossover event, players will be able to enter special Rift gates that teleport them to the past for a few moments to learn new abilities. This is done by finding an Anakin, Darth Maul, or Obi-Wan hologram on the map and talking to them; they'll bring you back in time to learn a move and give you a lightsaber.

Once you return from the training, you'll have a new ability in your arsenal. It's only usable with a Lightsaber equipped, so it's a good thing you'll be given one of those. Maul teaches Force Throw and Obi-Wan teaches Force Push; Force Pull is able to rip down structures like builds and trees, making it a very powerful tool to have in your repertoire.

Where does Anakin spawn in Fortnite?

Many quests in Fortnite mark the objective directly onto your map, but this one is a bit different as it doesn't do that. Anakin and the others still aren't too difficult to track down, but it does seem like they shy away from the action.

I've seen Anakin spawn in the direct center of the map, meaning he could have a set spawn in that area as it's happened twice, but there doesn't appear to be a concrete spawn point discovered as of yet. To complete the quest, you have to enter a Rift Gate three times in separate matches, so if he does spawn in the center every time, it's an easy quest to knock out. Nevertheless, staying long enough in a match should guarantee you come across at least one hologram.
