How to lock onto vehicles with the Homing Launcher in Fortnite

Lock-on!

The Anvil Rocket Launcher is a weapon added in Chapter 3 Season 2 of Fortnite. The rocket launcher is capable of taking down vehicles by locking on and shooting a homing rocket. Locking onto a vehicle is easier said than done, so how do you lock onto vehicles with the Homing Launcher in Fortnite?

To lock on to a vehicle, look at the vehicle and hold ADS, L2 (PlayStation), LT (Xbox). A large rectangle will appear as the crosshairs. To lock on, keep the vehicle in sight for a few seconds until the bottom of the screen says "Target Locked", then fire.

You can also use the Anvil Rocket Launcher without locking on to vehicles, but it works best when used on vehicles. The rocket will follow the vehicle and hit from overhead if locked on.

The Rare Anvil Launcher rockets can do 600 damage to vehicles and can do 100 damage to players and increase by five damage each rarity higher. It does have a very slow reload time, so it is a good idea to use it once on a vehicle and switch to another weapon.
