How to unpack Fortnite Winterfest presents
Follow these instructions to open Fortnite Winterfest presents:
- In the game, click on the Snowflake icon next to the Play button at the top of the main menu.
- Click on the Visit Lodge sign on the right side.
- Click on the presents piles on the left or right side of the Cozy Lodge.
- Hold the E button on PC, X on PlayStation, and A on Xbox to open the gift.

Why can't I open my Fortnite Winterfest presents?
The Fortnite Winterfest starts on December 13, 2022, so you can't open any presents before that. You can shake them if you want to hear what's inside them, though! To shake presents, press the Q button on the PC, Square on Playstation, and X on the Xbox controller. Another reason you can't open Fortnite Winterfest presents is that there is a daily limit on how many gifts you can unwrap. During the 14 days of Fortnite Winterfest 2022, you can have only one Daily Free Present.
