How to get the Thermal Scope in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

The Thermal Scope is a new optic attachment that allows you to Target enemies by viewing heat signatures. Forged by the god Hephaestus, these new modifications can be unlocked from Mod Benches which are found inside Weapon Bunkers.

The Thermal Scope can be equipped with any scoped weapon, making it much more versatile at range. This optic attachment not only doubles the view range but also comes with a thermal picture that you can toggle on command. With the introduction of weapon modifications in Chapter 5 Season 1, players can build proper loadouts for their guns.

The Huntress DMR is one of the best weapons to equip the Thermal Scope on. Certain attachments make weapons more versatile at range, and having a thermal optic makes it easier to spot enemies. Additionally, I recommend equipping a Magazine to get more bullets and an Underbarrel attachment for better stability. With this setup, you can shoot at enemies from a distance and engage in third-party combat without exposing yourself.

Where to find Weapon Bunkers in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 (Locations)

To equip modifications to your weapons, interact with the Mod Bench at any of the Weapon Bunkers found across the map in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2. Unchained Weapon Bunkers will unlock during a match, after which you can visit the location to interact with the Mod Bench.
