Will Goku Black come to Fortnite?

Following a May 7 update, GMatrixGames discovered a file named "DualParadox" within the game files. Although the file didn't provide much information on its own, GMatrixGames was able to confirm, through additional sources and credible leakers, that the file likely refers to a Goku Black skin coming to Fortnite.

As a long-time gamer and Dragon Ball fan, the rumors of a Goku Black variant coming to Fortnite have certainly piqued my interest. While nothing has been officially confirmed, the recent discovery of a file named "DualParadox" in a game update, as well as other credible leaker confirmations, suggest that the possibility is real. With Japan's Goku Day fast approaching on May 9, 2023, it's certainly exciting to think that we could see the skin make its debut in the Fortnite universe soon. As with any rumors, we'll have to wait patiently for further details to emerge, but as a fan, I'm definitely eager to see what happens next.

How to get Goku Black in Fortnite

If Goku Black does indeed make its way to Fortnite, it's safe to assume that it will be available in the in-game shop for players to purchase. While the exact price is still unknown, we can look to the previous Dragon Ball collaboration for some insight. The Goku bundle, which included a Goku outfit and a Kamehameha emote, was priced at 1800 V-Bucks. It's possible that the Goku Black variant could be priced similarly or even higher, depending on the specific details of the release. As always, players should keep an eye on the in-game shop for any updates or announcements regarding the potential arrival of Goku Black in Fortnite.

Who is Goku Black?

For those unfamiliar with the character, Goku Black is the main antagonist of the "Future" Trunks saga in the Dragon Ball Super anime series. Without getting into too much spoiler territory, Goku Black is a version of Goku from an alternate timeline who has turned evil and is wreaking havoc on the world.

What I love about Goku Black is his mysterious and sinister nature, as well as his unique fighting style and abilities. I think many fans of both Dragon Ball and Fortnite are excited about the possibility of a Goku Black variant.
