Is Thor going to be Fortnite Season 4’s Secret Skin?

Epic and Fortnite have been pulling out some pretty spectacular secret skins in Chapter 2 of the game. It started with a total shocker in Deadpool arriving as the "hidden" skin that you could earn by completing various challenges during the season. Deadpool made his mark felt across the map, and even took over the Yacht area completely. You can still find remnants of his exploits in the game at the moment! In Season 3, a whole load of water took over the map, which made a whole lot of sense to bring Aquaman into the game. We've gone back and forth between Marvel and DC in the last couple of battle passes.

Bring in the start of speculation of Season 4! If we're going back and forth between franchises, then it would obviously point to Marvel being next. We've just had Captain America in the game, so he wouldn't make sense. Who could it be? Well, according to some recent leaks, it looks like it could possibly be THOR! While this is just purely speculation at the moment, there are some pretty interesting clues that have been found that point to this being very likely.

The big clues have come in the form off comic books that are going to be appearing in the game in the near future. These were originally found in the files by HYPEX as strings, but some console players have apparently seen them in the game. HYPEX got access to one of the images, and put together a pretty compelling image that strings everything together:

You have the rainbow bridge that connects the bridge between worlds to Asgard. You have a pretty clear look at what appears to be Galactus, who is one of Thor's greatest enemies. Then you also have a pretty clear look at what appears to be Thor and his signature Mjolnir hammer. That hammer would make a great pickaxe and back bling wouldn't you say? We also know this is now possible with Captain America's Shield able to accomplish this.

There are also leaked runs that are going to be showing up on the map in the future. These are currently based on datamines, and not actually in the game. They certainly have that runic feel of something involving Thor and his Norse mythology. Credit to FortTory for the image.

When someone lands somewhere after using the Bifrost, which is a way that people from Asgard travel long distances, it leaves a pretty distinctive tribal looking run on the ground. That very obviously could be related to the patterns shown above.

If you recall in past Fortnite seasons, we've seen cracks form in the sky that have brought in new characters that have distorted the realm and changed the map in a lot of different ways. Well, it looks like there's going to be more cracks on the way:

This is what will likely start us on the journey to the reveal to Thor and how his story will play out in Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 4!
