Where to find and tame all animals in LEGO Fortnite

Animals play an essential role in LEGO Fortnite as you can obtain a variety of useful resources such as milk, meat, and wool from your farmyard friends. So if you're wondering where you can find and tame animals in LEGO Fortnite, here's everything you need to know.

All animal locations in LEGO Fortnite

You can find four different types of friendly animals while exploring the mysterious world of LEGO Fortnite.

• Chickens: Produce Feathers and Fertilizer and can be found in the Grasslands, Dry Valley and Shores.
• Cows: Produce Milk and Fertilizer. Can be found roaming around the entire Grasslands area and a few parts of the Frostland biome.
• Sheep: Produce Wool and Fertilizer and can only be found in Grasslands.
• Pigs: Produce Mushrooms and Fertilizers and can easily be spotted in Grasslands.

I strongly recommend setting up your village in the Grasslands area as you can find all the friendly creatures in this biome. However, during my playthrough, I discovered that pigs' spawn rate was relatively low compared to other animals, so you might have a hard time finding this animal and may have to explore a little more until you come across one.

How to tame animals in LEGO Fortnite

With the arrival of the Farm Friends update, you now have the ability to tame animals and bring them to your village with the help of a new food item called Animal Treat. To start off, find a friendly creature nearby and approach it without having any weapons in hand; otherwise, the critter will run away.

Once you're standing nearby, press the interact button (E) to pet the animal and feed the Animal Treat (using the same key). A bunch of green hearts should now appear on the top of the creature's head, meaning you have successfully tamed the animal, and it will keep following for the next few minutes. Finally, head to your village while the animal is tamed and assign a comfy house to keep it forever in your village.

However, make sure that they don't get hurt while you're leading them to their new home. If any unpleasant encounters occur, I strongly advise feeding the animal treats again to make them follow you to your final destination. Also, keep in mind that the effects of the Animal Treat will only last for a short amount of time. As such, it's best to have a few in your inventory and feed the animal another as soon as you see the green hearts disappear from around them.

How to craft Animal Treat in LEGO Fortnite

You can cook the Animal Treat recipe using a Grilll in LEGO Fortnite. However, make sure to collect the following ingredients beforehand before making an Animal Treat:

• 5x Vines: Chop down bushes or harvest food items such as pumpkins to get this material.
• 3x Corn: You can either find it in chests or craft them yourself using a Grain Mill.

Finally, it's worth noting that the Animal Treat recipe unlocks once you build an Animal House in LEGO Fortnite.
