The Charge SMG is one of the efficient close-range weapons, and you will find it quite easily in the game. While the weapon falls short in some aspects, using the Charge mechanic correctly can fetch easy eliminations. Here's how you can find and use the Charge SMG in Fortnite.

How to use the Charge SMG in Fortnite

Epic Games added the Charge SMG in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, and you will find it as ground loot in Chests, Supply Drops, Reality Saplings, and sharks. There is no specific location to find this weapon, and players will find it at every major POI and landmark. The Charge mechanic is activated by holding down the firing button. The bullet build-up is released when you release the firing trigger. Players will see a bullet gauge showing the number of bullets ready to be fired after the charge build-up. You can charge up the weapon, hide in cover until the opponents approach, and then spray bullets to knock down enemies at close range.

According to popular Fornite leaker and community expert @ShiinaBR, the Charge SMG's recoil was heavily reduced. This makes it a viable choice for the early game, as you will often find this weapon right after landing. The Stinger SMG is another powerful weapon in the same class, and players tend to choose it over the Charge SMG. Make sure to use the Charge SMG to get a few eliminations while completing challenges.

The Dragon Ball Quests are available in Fortnite and feature several iconic cosmetics, in-game items, and daily quests that players can complete. Players can also acquire the Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud by extracting Capsule Corp capsules. Keep an eye on your mini-map to see the exact location for Capsule Corp capsules.
