Where to find Shell in LEGO Fortnite

In LEGO Fortnite, Shells are one of the resources required for crafting and upgrades, so you need to know how to obtain it in-game. I've collected several similar resources by visiting different locations and fighting certain enemies, and here's how you can do it easily. 

How to get Shells in LEGO Fortnite

Shells are an uncommon crafting ingredient required for upgrading your Crafting Bench and other purposes. This is a tricky item to find as it doesn't spawn abundantly like Wood or Granite. Instead, you'll have to target a specific type of enemy - the Rollers. These crab-like creatures hide in plain sight, and you'll encounter them most often in grassy areas. They can roll around aggressively to deal damage and also perform a forward slash. 

The best way to counter these creatures is to jump exactly when the Roller is about to hit you. Time the rolling motion of this creature and jump at the precise moment to avoid damage. This enemy takes time to turn around, so that's your opportunity to strike. Use the Short Sword or other weapons to attack quickly. In case the enemy attacks, use the dodge movement technique to roll out of its way.

Once defeated, the Rollers drop Shells which can be stored in a Storage Chest at your Village. To upgrade your weapons, you’ll need to first level up the Crafting Bench. You need three Shells for upgrading the Crafting Bench, so gather them in bulk before returning to your village. Upgrading the Crafting Bench also unlocks new recipes, better versions of weapons, and craftable items.

Where to find Rollers in LEGO Fortnite (Map Location)

So far, I've encountered Rollers usually found around the grassland area. It's best to search this area during the day to avoid fighting skeletons and powerful enemies. Check the yellow circles on the map image above to see the precise locations of where I found Rollers. You can notice these creatures from far away by the distinctive yellow flowers on its back.

Similarly, visiting caves is a great option for hunting rare items. I fought scorpions and skeletons in a couple of caves and found Shells from a chest inside the area. I'd recommend carrying a Shield, Sword, and a Torch before venturing inside a cave.
