Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 has added plenty of new POIs, weapons, Reality Augments, and other elements that have made this season exciting so far. There are also new NPCs that sell resources as well as weapons. Some of them can even be hired to fight alongside you, such as the Sun Strider. How to find the Sun Strider NPC in Fortnite (Exact Map Location)
To find the Sun Strider, visit the small island south of the Eclipsed Estate POI. This is one of the new POIs under the control of the antagonist, Kado Thorne. Check the yellow circle on the map image to see the precise location of this NPC.
How to hire Sun Strider NPC in Fortnite
Once you interact with the Sun Strider, she will offer to sell Med-Mist. Alternatively, you can hire her to join your party as a Medic Specialist by spending 250 Gold Bars. The Sun Strider is an excellent choice for solo players, as she allows you to heal passively while facing multiple opponents. She can also aid you in combat by firing at your enemies with you.
Before interacting with the Sun Strider, I recommend getting weapons and shields as opponents might camp nearby to sneak up on you. The Eclipsed Estate is one of the most contested POIs which means a lot of enemies could be landing here; it's best to be prepared beforehand. I found a Heist Bag just as I landed on the island which contained weapons and shields. In addition, the Eclipsed Estate has a vault underneath it that contains exceptional loot. To access the vault, you need to fight multiple enemies including Kado Thorne.
