The latest Frostpunk 2 gameplay trailer officially confirms that the game is coming to PlayStation 5. The video focuses on the hard choices you have to make as a Steward in this tough-as-nails single-player survival game. In the previous game, it was impossible to make a perfect choice, as whatever you do, there will be consequences. The sequel doubles down on that, focusing on citizens' reactions and requests.

Just as in the original Frostpunk, things are far from perfect in your frozen empire of ice and snow. Hearing "Steward, Steward" in the video reminded me of the hard choices I had to make in the original game. It takes only so much to go from "Mighty Steward" to "The time of tyranny has ended!" In just a few minutes of gameplay video, you'll see many things that can go wrong, so prepare to replay the game multiple times.
Frostpunk 2 release is set for 2024. The story brings us to the Frostland 30 years after the Great Storm that wiped out the Victorian-era world. This time, elements are not the only foes, as humans and their thirst for power will test your leadership skills.
