Moon House Room Escape Walkthrough – All Puzzles

Moon House: Room Escape is a puzzle game by developer Sakiko Muto for iOS and Android platforms. You will love the game for its clean art style and intriguing riddles that you need to solve to get out of the apartment. Here's a complete walkthrough if need some assistance with some or all of the puzzles.

Moon House Room Escape Walkthrough - All Puzzle Solutions

In Moon House Room Escape, you log into a website called APARTMENT.BACON for a virtual tour of the place. Similar to Closet Bacon HIS Escape Room, there are several layers to the house and you need to uncover the secrets one by one by solving the puzzles to make it out.

Collect the first star ornament and key

1. Click on the pamphlet placed on the mat right outside the door.
2. Collect the star ornament by simply clicking on it and it'll be added to your inventory at the bottom.
3. Go back one step and click on the left arrow to enter the kitchen. Click on the countertop (left section) to enlarge it.
4. Click on the pot holding green limes.
5. Select the lime as shown in the fifth picture to reveal a hidden tennis ball and add it to your inventory.
6. Return two steps and press the left arrow twice to enter the living room. Click on the table placed in front of the couch.
7. Select the tennis book to enlarge it. Click once on the tennis ball in your inventory and then press on the empty ball slot on the book to solve the puzzle.
8. Tap the book to uncover a key (which unlocks a kitchen cabinet) and make sure to collect it before leaving.

Collect the second star ornament

1. Go back to the kitchen (press the right arrow twice from the living room). Click on the countertop area to zoom in.
2. Bring up the pull-out cabinet and use the key in your inventory to open the top drawer. Simply press on the key first and then the drawer to unlock it.
3. Click on the knife and handle inside to collect them.
4. Go back and then select the glass panel cabinet as shown in the fourth image.
5. Select the handle and then click on the handle portion of the cabinet to place it there. Press on the handle after it's attached to open the cabinet door.
6. Collect the following items from the storage: bell peppers, carrots, and whipped cream.
7. Press the down arrow once to go back and press on the plate placed on the countertop.
8. Select the bell pepper in your inventory and then click on the plate to place the fruit there. Now, select the knife and click on the bell pepper. This will cut open the fruit and reveal the second star ornament that you must collect.

Collect the third star ornament and blue sphere and unlock the bedroom door

1. Go to the living room and click on the cloud painting.
2. Select the whipped cream from your collection and press on the painting to solve the puzzle by creating a cloud path. This hint is given in the Cloud Cakes book on the living room's shelf.
3. Click on the table on top of the cloud twice to enlarge it. Press the blue sphere placed on top of it to add it to your inventory.
4. Press the left arrow to go to the section with a rabbit. Select the carrot you have and click on the bunny to feed it. The animal will move aside leaving the third and final star ornament.
5. Return to the living room and go to the bedroom door on the right.
6. Click on the symbols indicated in the sixth image above to enlarge it.
7. Place the three ornaments in the right spots to solve the puzzle and unlock the door by pressing it.

Light up the lamp to reveal the constellation puzzle

1. Press the bedroom to access the other section of the Moon House apartment.
2. Click on the right arrow once to enter the stair hall. Press on the stairs to go up to the observatory.
3. Press on the couch to enlarge it.
4. Once again, press the pillow to reveal the hidden power cable and tap on it to collect.
5. Return to the bedroom (press the down arrow twice and then the left arrow). Click on the bottom of the lamp to zoom in on that section.
6. Select the power cable from your inventory and then click on the power socket to secure the connection.
7. Go back once and then click on the top of the lamp to enlarge it. Tap on the chain to turn on the lamp.
8. This will reveal the constellation puzzle pattern as shown in the eighth slide above.

Solve the constellation puzzle and unlock the bathroom door

1. Go to the kitchen and click on the plate placed on the table. (if you don't want to know how I've solved this puzzle, just skip to the seventh point/slide).
2. The plate will have a constellation pattern which is associated with the red color of the lamp's puzzle pattern.
3. Go to the observatory (reach the living room first, then enter the bedroom, and finally the stair hall). Click on the telescope twice to watch the night sky.
4. You can see three constellations by moving the yellow ring on the screen. Each constellation is linked to its respective color from the lamp pattern (i.e., purple, yellow, and green).
5. Go back to the stair hall by pressing the down arrow three times. Now, press the right arrow and you'll enter a section with a locked door (which leads to the bathroom) and paintings around it. Click on the left section with the blue painting.
6. Enlarge the aforementioned painting and you'll see the pattern linked to the blue color.
7. Go back one step to the bathroom door and click on the paintings in the right section to enlarge. Click on the top, abstract art and you'll see it has six slots.
8. Tap on each slot to match them to the pattern shown in the eighth image above. This can be done by aligning the lamp color pattern with the respective constellations we just discovered.
9. You'd now have successfully unlocked the bathroom door.

Collect the card key for the closet, another key, and a clue

1. Enter the bathroom and click on the tray next to the sink.
2. Select the cigarette case and open it up by simply tapping on it.
3. Remove a couple of cigarettes by clicking on them to reveal the hidden card key. Click on it to add it to your inventory. There are other interactive items in the tray but they didn't do anything.
4. Go back to the bathroom view and tap on the cabinet above the sink.
5. Firstly, tap on the second item from the right on the bottom shelf to uncover a key.
6. On the shelf above, click on the third item from the right to obtain a card.
7. This card shows star alignment and three lamps on the backside (you'll need this clue soon).
8. Go to the kitchen, tap on the countertop, and select the pull-out cabinets.
9. Use the key you just collected from the bathroom to unlock the second drawer and grab the scoop inside.

Unlock the closet and collect the yellow sphere

1. Go to the stair hall (via the living room) and press on the closet next to the observatory stairs.
2. Click on the bottom right corner of the wardrobe as shown in the second image above.
3. Select the card key from your inventory and then press on the card slot to unlock the closet.
4. Go back one step and tap on the door to open the closet. There you'll find a mysterious entrance to a hidden island.
5. Tap on the section to the left of the trees and you'll find three lamps.
6. Press on the switch box under the lamps to enlarge it.
7. Move the switches to replicate the pattern shown in the seventh picture. The clue to this was given in the card you discovered in the bathroom previously. Now you can click on the big switch on the left to turn the lights off.
8. Press the down arrow twice and click on the right half of the island.
9. Click on the nose of the boat to zoom in and then press on the moon in the distance.
10. Tap on the moon cream cart.
11. Collect the hidden tong from the top by clicking on it.
12. Select the scoop from your inventory and tap on the ice cream portion. This will carve a scoop out that you can collect as the yellow sphere.

Escape the Moon House apartment and uncover the Easter Egg

1. For the last sphere, go to the bathroom lobby (press the down arrow six times and then go right). Click on the painting on the top left.
2. Select the tong from your collection and tap on the ball on the "HOT" painting to receive the pink sphere.
3. Go to the bedroom and click on the painting above the bed.
4. Place the three spheres in the empty slots in the painting (see fourth image above for order). This will reveal a key you must collect.
5. Now go back to the living room and press the right arrow to reach the locked door. Click on the door to zoom in on the lock. Select the key and then press on the lock to unlock the door.
6. Tap on the curtains to remove them.
7. Keep tapping on top of the ladder a few times to reach the top of the clouds.
8. Click on the door there to open it and then press at the center to leave the Moon House apartment.
9. You'll then get a "thank you" note with a button that'll lead you to the main menu. Before pressing that, make sure to collect the hidden card from behind the plant leaves for the Easter Egg.
10. The card indicates the table from the painting in the living room where you found the blue sphere earlier. You can now go back to the main menu.

Complete the Moon House Easter Egg

1. Press "Continue" on the main menu screen.
2. Go to the living room and tap on the cloud painting.
3. Tap on the chair a couple of times to zoom in and then click on the right foot.
4. There you can barely see a box with numbers. Tap on the cloud around it a few times to reveal it.
5. Grab the box and go to the bathroom hall (via bedroom). Tap on the painting on the top right.
6. Count the pink, white, and blue stars (3,5, and 2 respectively).
7. Select the box to enlarge it and put this sequence there (see seventh image) to unlock it. Tap on the box to open it and collect the card key from inside.
8. Go back to the stair hall with the closet and click on it twice to reach the card slot. Put the newly acquired card key there to open the closet.
9. This time you'll find a different view inside the wardrobe with a bunny waiting to greet you.
10. Click twice on the view and you'll be taken to a table with some desserts (which you can eat of course by clicking) and yet another thank you note for finishing the game.
