Genshin Impact has become a massive hit on the first day of its free-to-play release, with over 5 million downloads and counting! Many players worldwide have been using the gacha system and trying to get the best character they can possibly get. The game is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, iOS, and Android, with a Nintendo Switch version being released in the future.
Though many questions need to be answered regarding Genshin Impact, such as how does cross play work? With cross play, how does cross saving work? Does the mobile version offer controller support? And when is the Switch release coming? We have all those answers for you!
Cross Play/Cross Platform
No matter what platform you play, Genshin Impact on cross play is readily available. Even if you are playing on the PC version, a friend can hop in and play with you even if they are using the Android, PlayStation 4, or iOS versions. Having cross platform from the get-go is a truly impressive feat!
Cross Save
There is cross saving over some platforms, which sadly, the PlayStation 4 version isn't included. If you started off playing on the PlayStation 4, then your save is locked to that version.
Cross saves are only available on the PC and mobile versions, so you can play on your PC during the day, then relax and play it in bed at night on your mobile device, and no saved data is lost!
Mobile Controller Support
There is no controller support at the moment for mobile devices. Though miHoyo has hinted that the featured might be patched into the game in the future.

Nintendo Switch Release
Nintendo fans don't have to worry as a Genshin Impact Switch release is in the works, but it wasn't included in the September 28th release road map. No doubt, we'll hear more information about the Nintendo Switch release soon!
PC Requirements
The requirements to play on the PC version of Genshin Impact are rather low. The official recommendation is to have an Intel-I5 processor with 8GB of ram and a GTX 1050. However, based on feedback from the community that the game can run on modern Dual-Core and even a Geforce 760 GPU.
As a bonus for those of you who own ultrawide monitors, Genshin Impact works with ultrawide resolutions from the get-go. Even those who are on 32:9 aspect ratios!
