How to participate in the Ballads of Breeze video submission contest – Genshin Impact

To participate in the contest, you first need to have access to the Windblume's Breath event and create your own beatmap. Consider referencing the guides below to help you out:

Once you've successfully created a beatmap, you can submit a video of you playing your own arrangement using either of the following methods below.

Method one: Ballads of Breeze Interaction Platform

The first method involves posting a video of you playing your beatmap on the official Ballads of Breeze Interaction Platform. This method requires you to submit a YouTube link, so you'll need an account for the latter as well. You can view the full submission details and requirements by clicking the link provided.

This method will reward you with an additional 50,000 Mora for your first video submission, but the downside is that it takes one to three working days for approval. If you're joining the contest last minute, then consider the second method instead.

Method two: HoYoLAB

For this method, you must simply create a new post on HoYoLAB using the topic #Ballads of Breeze, with an attachment of your video submission. The quality of your content, as well as the comments, likes, and other undisclosed factors will be used by the event organizers to select winners.

Submission guidelines & rules for the Ballads of Breeze video submission contest

Take note of these universal guidelines for submission:

  • The title of your post must begin with "Ballads of Breeze Video Submission," and the beginning of your text must contain the Sharing Code of the beatmap you played in your video.
  • You must use a beatmap that you created, not one made by others.
  • Your video must showcase the same account that created the beatmap—keep the UID on the bottom right of the screen visible.
  • The video must be a screen recording showing only the game footage (i.e. your taskbar, desktop wallpaper, and other distractions should not be visible).

Additionally, make sure to follow the guidelines below to ensure that your submission is considered for any of the prizes.

  • Players are allowed multiple submissions via method two for this event but only one prize can be won per player. The prizes cannot be stacked and only the highest prize won will be awarded.
  • The following situations will be considered invalid participation:
    • The content of the post violates Community Rules, plagiarizes, or misappropriates content from other authors.
    • Publishing content unrelated to the theme of the event, content that involve any form of advertising, and those which seek to spread malicious rumors or discredit the game and its characters.
    • After the list of winners is announced, if the winner hides or deletes the winning post or comment, the winner will be deemed to have voluntarily forfeited their prize.
