Ubisoft's new free-to-play FPS, Ghost Recon Frontline, is a scavenging and extraction type game. It is the successor to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint. You can now register for the upcoming Closed Beta Test for the new Ghost Recon project.
The first GR Frontline Closed Beta starts on October 14 and will be exclusive to PC players. The test runs until October 21 and is only accessible to players from select countries in the European Union. Nonetheless, make sure to register for the forthcoming game tests and beta for all platforms below.
Register for the Ghost Recon Frontline Closed Test
- Head over to the Ghost Recon Frontline website.
- Click on the "Register" tab at the top-right of the screen.
- Select the platform you want to register for and proceed.
- Sign in or create a new Ubisoft account if you don't already have one.
- You will be notified via email whenever a Beta is planned for your platform and region.

PC players from the following EU countries can participate in the first Frontline Closed Test—Germany, France, UK, Poland, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Austria, Belgium, Portugal, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Greece, Croatia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Andorra, Monaco and Slovakia.
The first Ghost Recon Frontline Beta features three Contractors—Assault, Support, and Recon, each with different tactical abilities. The Closed Test features two game modes—Expedition and Control.
Expedition is the classic mode in which you play as a three-player squad in a 100+ player lobby. Your job is to gather specified intel and then extract safely. Control is a casual, 9 players domination type game mode.
