As with any released game, players ponder over one aspect of the game more than anything else. The biggest concern on everyone's mind is always if the dogs are pettable or not.

The GhostWire: Tokyo deep dive gameplay showed off tons of the game. It went into detail about the combat, story, and environment. However, there was not a dog to be seen or even mentioned in the gameplay. Though just as fans were beginning to worry, Bethesda confirmed in their blog post that dogs will, in fact, be in the game, and you can, of course, pet them.

Below you can see a video from Tango Gameworks, where they confirm you can pet the dogs.

It's nice to know that there is always time to stop and give a dog head scratches in a game with such serious undertones and horror elements.
