How to download the GhostWire: Tokyo Prelude on PlayStation 5

Playstation 5's can be a little temperamental.

You can get a taste of the GhostWire: Tokyo world for free by downloading the prequel visual novel. GhostWireL Tokyo Prelude is available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users to access for free. The only problem is that it doesn't pop up when you search for it on the PlayStation 5 store.

Here's how to download GhostWire: Tokyo Prelude

If you're having trouble with the download, simply follow the steps below.

  • Go to the PlayStation store and switch your platform to PS4.
  • You can do this by moving over to the filter tabs and changing your system.
  • Search GhostWire: Tokyo Prelude and hit download on the PS4 version.
  • The game will automatically download as the PS5 version.
  • If it's still not appearing, click here to manually add the game to your library.
  • After adding Tokyo: Ghostwire Prelude to your library, the PlayStation website will give you the option to download the game to your system remotely.

The official GhostWire: Tokyo Twitter account has addressed the confusion surrounding the download. If you are waiting for the PC version of the visual novel, it's set to release on Mar. 8.
