Ghostwire: Tokyo, the latest title from Tango Gameworks, lets players explore Shibuya as it becomes overtaken by supernatural forces that spirit away almost every other person in the city via a mysterious fog. While the mist spares Akito, it can still harm him if he ventures too close to it, and only those who can clear the fog will gain complete access to Tokyo.
To clear the hazardous fog in Ghostwire: Tokyo, you'll need to Cleanse Torii Gates scattered throughout Shibuya. These unique gates will appear with a white hue in the overworld when corrupted, as shown below:

Some Torii Gates require players to cleanse multiple arches before ridding an area of fog, showcasing several areas where each gate rests. If the Torii Gates aren't appearing inside these rings, you'll need to move close to find them:
To Cleanse a Torii Gate, you need to clear an area of enemies and approach the gate, holding L2 until the Akito finishes cleansing the Torii Gate.
Once Torii Gates are purified, they turn red, and the surrounding fog will dissipate, allowing players to view other areas previously unavailable. Players can also fast travel to Torii Gates by heading to their map and pressing Square when highlighting an orange arch.
