How to Pre-Order Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy on Nintendo

Nintendo's cloud-based Guardians of the Galaxy is a bit different from the other versions. Not in terms of gameplay, but in the way Nintendo is handling it. Unfortunately, Nintendo does not allow pre-orders for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.

The reason is not stated, but Nintendo prefers that their games be purchased when released. Pre-ordering or playing the Deluxe Edition is not included. Only Nintendo's cloud-based version of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is available.

For Switch owners, this means players can play only the base game. Nintendo will not be giving players any of the pre-order or deluxe bonuses available for other consoles. This is just something that will not be available for this version.

It appears that players will stream the game rather than have a lot of data on the console. Nintendo recommends a strong internet connection when purchasing since it is cloud-based. Therefore, if you do not have a fast internet connection, we do not recommend buying this version.
