Should you hide Llama or Rocket’s Secret Stash in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy – Chapter Two

Help a strange creature or help hide some tech?

At the start of Chapter Two, when the team leaves the Quarantine Zone, you are instantly hit with an important choice to make. You can either hide the odd monster Llama or hide Rocket's secret stash of tech. This choice has consequences in later chapters of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, and you only have a limited time to make your choice.

The choice doesn't matter that much, so choose whatever you want, but if you want the best possible outcome throughout the game, choose to hide Llama.

The unspoiled outcome from this decision is the following. If you hide Llama, you will get fined 7000 Credits later on in Chapter 2 by Ko-Rel. If you hide Rocket's secret stash, Ko-Rel will fine you 8000 Credits.

Spoiler Warning

By hiding Llama, you will unlock a shortcut in Chapter 10 and will save you both money and time. If you choose to hide the stash, you will get a spaceship tech upgrade from it, making one fight easier later in the game.

Interestingly enough, you can actually choose not to pick either option and let the timer run out. If you do this, you get fined 9000 credits, and they will confiscate the weapons but leave the Llama.
