What happens if you accept the promise in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy? – Chapter Eight

During Chapter Eight of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, you'll find yourself as an adult Peter Quill with the opportunity to (seemingly) rewrite history. Soon thereafter, a dark presence will slowly creep in and take over your game screen, resulting in the game's credits to roll—here is where you face the option to Rethink Choice Or Accept the Promise.

If you choose to Rethink Choice, you will be faced with a gut-wrenching decision that will eventually send you back into the fray with the members of the Grand Unification.

However, if you choose to Accept the Promise, you will end the game early and get taken back to the title screen. Upon reloading the game, you will face the same decision between Rethink Choice and Accept the Promise until you break the loop.
