How to download the Monster Hunter Rise Demo

To download the Monster Hunter Rise demo, you will need to log into your Nintendo account and visit the game's store page. Once at the Monster Hunter Rise store page, click the words "download demo" under the game's name. Clicking this button will start a download on your Switch almost immediately, depending on your internet speed.

As a side note, you will need a total of 1.6GB free on your Switch for the demo. If you don't have this amount of space free, make room for it by either uninstalling games or moving them to a micro SD.

That said, once you have space free, start your download, and once it starts, all you will need to do is wait for it to finish.

After the demo finishes downloading, you can then play around with all that it has to offer. But what exactly can you do in the Monster Rise Demo? Well, to start, the demo allows players to complete one of four quests with a total limit of 30 quests you are able to take on. Once this amount runs out, you won't be able to play the demo anymore.

Along with this, players can try all 14 weapon types, slay both a Great Izuchi and a Mizutsune, and if players have a Nintendo Switch Online membership, they can play with a friend online. If you don't, you will only be able to play either single-player or the local multiplayer mode.

So what are you waiting for hunter? Get out there and try the demo today, but remember it expires on February 1st at 3 am EST. When that happens, you will have to wait until the full release in March to experience the game again.
