What are Rakna-Kadaki weaknesses, resistances, & drops | Monster Hunter Rise

Not an itsy-bitsy spider.

Monster Hunter Rise has dozens of monsters for players to fight throughout their journey. Each of the game's monsters has characteristics that set it apart from the other predators in the ecosystem, and few monsters are as unique in appearance as the Rakna-Kadaki. This gargantuan arachnid guards its body with adhesive webbing that houses its offspring and shoots fire at all who get too close. It's a monster that can make quick work of any inexperienced or unprepared hunter, so make sure you don't end up on the dinner menu by learning its weaknesses, resistances, and drop rates.

Rakna-Kadaki Elemental Weakness

The Rakna-Kadaki's main weakness is ice, so if you have a weapon with this element, be sure to bring it along for your battle with the giant spider. If you lack an ice-imbued weapon, take a water one instead, as this is a viable second option. Avoid using fire, thunder, and dragon weapons on the Rakna-Kadaki. Its immunities make these weapons ineffective.

If you've brought your ice or water weapons, focus your attacks on the Rakna-Kadai's Head and Claws to deal the most damage.

Rakna-Kadaki Drop Rates - Carves, Capturing & Breaking

Depending on your quest, you can get different rewards to forge armor and weapons, but each has a drop rate percentage, ultimately RNG. It is pure luck what you receive.

  • There are multiple ways of gaining items
    • You can carving three times once the monster is dead.
    • You can capture the monster instead of killing it.
      • Or carving the broken appendage of said monster.
    • From looting the drops from the monster
    • After successfully compleing your quest

Most monsters have breakable parts, and Rakna-Kadaki is no different. The Head, Abdomen, Legs, and Claws of the Rakna-Kadaki are all susceptible to breaking. If you destroy these pieces during the hunt, you will earn extra rewards after completing the quest.
