How to increase Grasp in Hades 2

In Hades 2, the amount of Grasp Melinoë has determines how many activated tarot cards she can carry at once. I'll show you how to increase her Grasp of the Arcana to help you get even closer to defeating Chronos.

How to get more Grasp in Hades 2

You'll need to use Melinoë's altar to increase her Grasp. This is the same place where you can unlock and activate Tarot Cards.

In Melinoë's alter, select the image of Melinoë in the upper right corner. It will cause text describing the Grasp of the Arcana to show up.

There are a few things you need to pay attention to in this image.

• The arrow points to a set of two numbers beneath Melinoë's face. The number on the left shows how much Grasp she is currently using, while the number on the right shows how much Grasp is available to use.
• The description of the Grasp of the Arcana explains that each upgrade increases your Grasp by 2 points. Grasp is upgraded using Psyche.
• The image in the yellow circle shows how much Psyche is needed for the next upgrade. If you do not have enough, the text will be red.
  • The small symbol and white text beneath the Psyche image show how much Psyche you have in your inventory.

Once you've gathered enough Psyche to upgrade your Grasp, the text will change so that Psyche is written in black and the amount needed is written in white.

Hit the upgrade button designated on the bottom right corner of the screen. The total amount of Grasp shown beneath Melinoë's face will increase by two points. Likewise, the amount of Psyche needed for the next upgrade will increase as well.

How to get Psyche in Hades 2

Psyche is a room reward you can find during any Hades 2 run. To get it, you'll need to find a door with the Psyche symbol above it and enter it.

After clearing the room, you'll be rewarded with 10 Psyche. Interact with it to pick it up and continue on with your run. These will be stored in your inventory to be used whenever you would like.
