Despite Hell Let Loose being around for a while, the devs are breathing new air into it, not only by adding it to Xbox Game Pass but with some fresh new changes coming to the game throughout the year. Here's what to expect!
All changes coming to Hell Let Loose in 2024
The devs have given us some sneak peeks into what we can expect for the future Hell Let Loose, from revamped graphics to a brand-new map. We are bound to see more fixes and updates in their patch notes, but here's everything we know so far:
New Uniforms
- US Commander - Patton (Inspired by US Army Officer George Patton)
- US Infantry Winter Outfit
Gammon Bomb Explosive
The Gammon Bomb, an unpredictable and dangerous explosive, is set to replace the Sticky Bomb in the upcoming British part 2 rework.
Crusader Mark III Tank
A brand new, British-inspired tank called the Crusader Mark III will be added to the British part 2 rework as well. This tank has a super speedy reload time, only taking about 6 seconds, and its shape allows it to peek over ridges and hills in specific maps and easily clear the path.
New VFX
- Improved Rain VFX
- Reworked Fire VFX
Improvements and reworks for the visual effects in the game, like the fire, will improve performance, restrict lag from happening, and make the game run smoother while keeping that high-quality look.
Reworked Maps and Field Manual
Hell Let Loose is a very detailed simulation war game, and with it comes some complicated mechanics. In the future, the developers will update the Tactical Map and the Field Manual with improved UI to make things more accessible and easier to understand for new players and returning players.
New Map - Mortain
A brand-new map is one of the most exciting new features coming to the game. Mortain is inspired by a French town where the US rallied against German troops in 1944. Most of the town was left destroyed, and the ruins will be the focus of the playable sections of the map for the game.
