The Helldivers 2 A United Stand Trailer uploaded to the PlayStation YouTube channel gives an in-depth look at the life of a Helldiver. This illustrious position is held by the most highly trained and expendable soldiers, and while I'll likely die as soon as I exit my drop pod, I can't wait to sling lead and shoot fire at aliens and robots.

Invoking childhood memories of Starship Trooper and Halo 3: ODST, as well as the fast-paced mission-based action of Deep Rock Galactic, Helldivers 2 looks primed to be my next co-op sci-fi shooter. I love the contrast of Super Earth High Command looking down on the galaxy and sending out recruits fresh out of cryosleep to complete missions and face hordes of enemies in gritty third-person combat.

Major Orders, Personal Orders, and Operations ensure Helldivers 2 stays fresh and full of content. These different objectives on planets already have me expecting to split my squad up to maximize our efficiency. Helldivers 2's progression encourages exploration and extraction and completing objectives, making the incentive even greater.

The final feature that caught my eye is the developer interaction. The developer watches how the community plays and supplies the right weapon for the right situation or pushes a negative consequence to increase the challenge. Developer and community relationships are important to me, and I appreciate how Helldivers 2 handles this interaction.
