Ashwinder Executioner are the type of wizards who have a distinct style of attack. These wizards can cast a lightning spell to take down their enemies during combat. You need to use the Expelliarmus spell to disarm an Ashwinder Executioner as they prepare their lightning spell. But the trick is to use the spell at the precise moment.
When you see the flicker of white light just as the Ashwinder waves his wand, you will cast Expelliarmus. You need to do it just as the Ashwinder is about to cast the lightning spell. Once you do that, you would see the wizard losing control over his spell, and suffer damage. To learn the Expelliarmus spell, make sure to complete Professor Hecat's Assignment 2.

But if the Ashwinder was able to cast its lightning spell, you can cast Arresto Momentum to keep the lightning striking longer. This would give you the opportunity to cast other enemies into it causing more damage. Make sure to complete Professor Kogawa's Assignment 2 to use this spell.
