Honkai Star Rail Best Yukong Build – Light Cones, Relics, & More!

How do you build Yukong?

Yukong has been slowly getting a reputation for being one of the better supports in Honkai Star Rail. That's certainly saying something, with Tingyun and Bronya running around. Yukong is a bit more difficult to use, though, given that her Skill and Talent have a couple of extra requirements to manage. If players are willing to invest in her and learn how she works, Yukong can be a great addition to any team.

Best Light Cones for Yukong in Honkai Star Rail

As is the case with just about every other Harmony character in Honkai Star Rail, Yukong does great with Bronya's personal Light Cone, But the Battle isn't Over. This is because Yukong's Ultimate charges a bit slowly, and this Light Cone enhances Energy Regeneration. Despite being a Support, Yukong can also serve as a secondary DPS since her Ultimate move is tremendously strong.

Best Free to Play Light Cones for Yukon in Honkai Star Rail

Dance, Dance, Dance is a relatively good Light Cone for Yukong that free-to-play users can get just through ordinary warping. Past and Future is another good option, since it allows the next character who moves to increase their damage.

Best Relic Sets for Yukong in Honkai Star Rail

Fortunately, players can get a lot of value out of giving Yukong the Musketeers of Wild Wheat set, which is the most abundant Relic in the game. The main goal for any play with Yukong is to buff her Speed, so that she can move before fast DPS characters like Dan Heng and Sushang. As for her Planar Ornament set, players should aim for Sprightly Vonwacq for Energy restoration.

Which of Yukong's Stats should you boost?

Anything that boosts Speed or Energy Restoration is a safe bet on Yukong. You should prioritize these stats in particular:

  • Feet: Speed
  • Body: Crit Value
  • Planar Ornament: Imaginary Damage
  • Light Robe: Energy Restoration

Yukong's Path and Element in Honkai Star Rail

Yukong walks along the path of Harmony, which makes her a Support character. That being said, because her Ultimate is so high-powered, don't be afraid to use her as a backup DPS. Her Element is Imaginary, which is shared with only a few other characters (Welt and Loucha).

Best Teammates for Yukong in Honkai Star Rail

The best teammate for Yukong is Dan Heng. This is because Yukong can be built to out-speed Dan Heng, which means he will always be the target of Yukong's roaring Bowstrings buff. That, in turn, activates Dan Heng's Talent, and after a potential Ultimate from Yukong, it's easy to see how the damage compounds from there. Other fast characters like Seele and Sushang can also fit this role.
