March 7th is getting a new Path and Xianzhou costume change in a future Honkai Star Rail update

The Trailblazer treatment.

While everyone has always known that Stelle and Caleb get their own Paths, seeing March 7th get the same treatment is a pleasant surprise. Learning swordsmanship from Yunli and Yanqing, March 7th turns into a sword-wielding female martial artist in a future Honkai: Star Rail update.

Now that Penacony is closing its story at update 2.3, fans are eager to know more about the next trip, which looks to be the Xianzhou—albeit not Luofu—related. New five-star characters Yunli (Physical/Destruction) and Jiaoqiu (Fire/Nihility) have already been revealed, but Hoyoverse didn’t stop their usual character announcements there.

After this year's Summer Game Fest, they’ve revealed a new design for March 7th, along with a story teaser post. The new Cloud Knights-inspired outfit is also paired with a new weapon for March, a sword.

March 7th’s new form is also tagged with the Imaginary and Hunt symbols, which checks out for most of the Xianzhou residents. And by that, we meant an amalgamation of four-star Dan Heng (Hunt) and Imbibitor Lunae (Imaginary), the Xianzhou mascot himself. Perhaps his forms are what inspired March?

It's also important to note that this new March 7th is still a four star. In fact, since the devs mention how the Path “unlocks,” we could be looking at the same character. Much like Stelle/Caleb, her Eidolons might be separate, but that’s all speculation for now.

How to get the new March 7th path in Honkai Star Rail

To get March 7th's new Path, players will only have to participate in an event. No details about it have been released. Fortunately, in-game events in Honkai Star Rail never expire. Even if you somehow miss it in a future update, you’ll be able to play it in the Conventional Memoir.
