Where to find a Mammoth in Icarus

Be careful you don't go extinct when you find one.

Icarus is a multiplayer survival game full of dangerous environments and hostile wildlife. While many creatures can kill you, few are as dangerous as the mammoth. Those looking to catch a glimpse of this majestic creature or take it down will want to know where to find a mammoth.

In Icarus, you can find mammoths in the arctic areas. These snow biomes are home to the harsh cold and a few creatures. Mammoths are the apex animal here, and they can be very dangerous—even for groups of players. They deal high damage and have a lot of hit points.

It is highly recommended that you fight a mammoth as a group. This means you will need to call in some help from your friends to deal with this creature. Mammoths can be killed by solo players, but this will be a very hard challenge, indeed.

One strategy that works is to find a large enough rock that you can jump on where the mammoth cannot reach you. You can also try to kite it to get it stuck on some rocks. Killing the mammoth is a sure way to acquire a tusk, so it may be worth the risk to fight this beast.
