Infold team has announced many new things coming in what will be the biggest patch since Infinity Nikki released in December 2024, rivaled only by the Fireworks Isle of 1.2. With brand new features and multiple quality of life improvements, let's take a look what we can expect in 1.5 version of the coziest live service game that took everyone by storm.
What's New in Infinity Nikki 1.5
The Nikki franchise already has multiple games under the belt, with Love Nikki Dress Up Queen being many of the fans' entry title, and Shining Nikki still going strong with its beautiful 3D outfits. As such, players of Infinity Nikki have already come to expect certain features to appear in the newest game too. The time has come for Infold to deliver!
New Outfits and Recolors - Dyeing System and Unbound Abilities
With the update comes two new limited outfits, five free outfits including the well-loved Sea of Stars which you can craft from in-game materials.
Up until this point, 4★ and 5★ outfits were only available in 2 and 4 different color schemes respectively. The 1.3 version Bullquet Care Day Event heralded the long awaited dyeing system, allowing for extra colors to be unlocked on different garment pieces.
What we know so far is that different criteria will apply for 3★, versus 4★ and 5★ outfits. The former will require certain materials in order to unlock alternate colors, while the latter will have the colors unlocked directly through glow up system.
Additionally, we already know some of the the extra color schemes we unlock for 5★ outfits! It was hinted that the new colorways will be complementary to the fifth, unmatched color of every Eureka 5★ set we currently have tied to a 5★ outfit. Not all outfits will have this featured when 1.5 drops, but all of them will be rolled out eventually in subsequent versions.
Additionally, players will now have the freedom to use the skills of most outfits separate from wearing them. Unfortunately, this will not apply to abilities like the mermaid scales appearing on Nikki's skin when she touches water, and this will only remain active if you wear the corresponding full outfits. All the 4★ ability outfits initially available on the Standard Banner, including some other limited ability outfits will receive beautiful brand new tools that match the outfit's style.
Co-op Unlocked - Infinity Nikki Multiplayer Map
While it's only within the boundaries of a brand new region, stylists can now meet in real time on a brand new co-op map! This feature was possibly the most requested one ever since the game launch. Once the 1.5 patch is live, every player will be able to host a single friend in their special multiplayer map.
While it's unclear whether multiplayer will be expanded upon either in terms of more players playing together or new maps being available in the future, this is certainly a step in the right direction. You'll also experience a variety of new puzzles which you will have to work together to complete.
New Styles and Presets for Camera
As it's already been almost half a year since the game launch, many stylists have already gathered all the available upgrades for their camera. From the version 1.5 onwards, a new merchant, Leila will offer new poses, filters, stickers and other innovative features for your camera! There will be 8 new poses for stylists to buy featuring Nikki's various activities.
Another camera feature that players have been asking for a lot is the ability to take vertical photos. This, along with the ability to move Nikki freely while in camera mode is also coming! Not only that, but players will also be able to memorize up to 20 custom photo presets for the various scenarios they keep using on a regular basis.
Quality of Life Features in Version 1.5
A great new feature, Whim Calendar, is coming to the already overhauled Pear-Pal interface. Stylists will be able to easily track time sensitive matters like Vital Energy replenishment, Daily quests and Mira Crown. This will make it easier for everyone to be able to collect all the precious gems and experience in time!
Also, the main in-game UI will be decluttered of rarely used icons and a new Immersive Mode will be introduced for extra coziness. Some much requested changes to the way key bindings work in the game are also coming, and you'll now be able to customize your experience, along with camera X/Y axis inversion.
Nikki's Home - Housing, Furniture & Gardening
While there were speculations that the housing system might go live in version 1.5, this is not the case after all. Infold did promise they would give us access to our own private island with a home and place to garden this summer. This could mean as early as 1.6, and playerbase thinks this may be the case!

When Does Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Release
The Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 is set to launch on April 29th. Scheduled maintenance on the server normally ends at 20:00 (UTC-7), if there are no complications during the update.
