How to Parry in Kena: Bridge of Spirits

Ember Lab's first title, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, is out, and players have been surprised by the depth of the difficulty this indie game has on offer. Combat is tense and challenging, with enemies that hit hard. To overcome these corrupted spirits, Kena must use all her skills, including the parry.

To parry in Kena: Bridge of Spirits, players must use their shield ability (L1) just as an enemy attack connects. Doing so will stun attackers and slow time briefly, giving Kena a moment to counterattack. Kena can also retaliate with special parry attacks once she's leveled up.
