Who is Strelitzia in Kingdom Hearts 4?

In the Kingdom Hearts 4 trailer, a girl is shown to have been taking care of Sora named Strelitzia. Many fans may not recognize her as she takes place in a lesser-known game despite being one of its main characters. Just who is this mysterious girl, and how does she know so much?

Strelitzia was around during the Keyblade War and was killed by Darkness. She was also a keyblade wielder who silently watched over the player during the Union X story. Kingdom Hearts: Union X was a mobile game that came out in 2015, but it never achieved a lot of popularity in the West, with even many hardcore fans skipping out on the title.

She became part of the Dandelions and became a Union Leader, which she soon came to regret due to the Keyblade War. Strelitzia is also a major part of Marluxia's story since she is the sister of Lauriam. It's not yet known if the two have had contact since her death.

When she approaches the player for the first time, Strelitzia ends up being killed, and her book of rules is taken. She has now been shown to be alive and living in Quadratum. Quadratum is an alternate reality, but Strelitzia seems to be an anomaly who doesn't belong there much like Sora is.
