Learning the Wingardium Leviosa Spell in Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 takes place fairly early in the game. You will be able to learn the spell in the Professor’s classroom after getting sorted into the Gryffindor common room. You will have to rescue three students to pass the Spell test.

• Once you're on the classroom's ground floor, go right and interact with the heavyweight object. The mechanical claw will grab it from the bottom so it doesn't drop. Doing this will rescue the first student.
• In the next step, you will be solving a puzzle. Proceed to the left side of the classroom. You will see a couple of Tetris-style blocks that you need to re-arrange. Refer to the image above to determine what position you need to get them in. You are basically trying to build a staircase.
• Once you're upstairs, wand the painting to release the wizard held by a crab-like contraption. Use the pieces to assemble a mechanical claw to prop a heavyweight object as you did before. This will save a second student.
• While you're still on the top floor, go right to find a broken statue. Set the parts together in the following order to save the third student:
  • Torso
  • Head
  • Spear

When you complete these tasks, you will successfully learn the Wingardium Leviosa Spell, a spell required to redeem the Spell cheat codes in the game.
