Everything in the Lethal Company v55 update

Lethal Company v55 update comes with a few new monsters, great equipment, and some surprising environmental traps. You can check out everything included in the new update below.

Vain Shroud

Vain Shroud is a new type of plant that can appear on Moons outside. These plants are harmless on their own; it's the new monster that hides inside these bushes that's the real problem. These red bushes hide the Kidnapper Fox, one of two new creatures in Lethal Company version 55.

Kidnapper Fox

The Kidnapper Fox is an outside monster mostly lurking on Experimentation but can be found on other moons as well. If you see the Vain Shroud outside, that means you should be careful of these monsters hanging around.

They will latch onto you with their tongues and start dragging you toward the Vain Shroud. You need to turn around and run in the opposite direction. If you manage to escape, then the Kidnapper Fox won't eat your entire head.

Barber

A mostly invisible creature that can be distinctly recognized by its trumpet-like steps. That's the easiest way to know when it's near you, even if you can't see it. It will, however, flicker in and out enough for you to see the blue clay surgeon (as this creature has been dubbed by the players).

The Barber carries around a pair of scissors. If you are within its range, you will get snipped in two, which also happens to be an insta-kill. This monster doesn't move too fast, so you can stay ahead of it, but you have to be very aware of your surroundings.

Ceiling Spikes

Nothing can catch me out quite like something attacking me from the ceiling, Snare Fleas included. So, it's no surprise how much I've died to the Ceiling Spikes. You can usually see two red lights in the darkness lower to the ground, indicating that the trap is right there.

You can also hear the distinct slam of the spikes into the ground, but only once you are close enough to the trap. If it hits you, it will instantly kill you, so be careful and make sure you're regularly looking up if venturing into a new room or area. Your friends and teammates can grab your body and take it back to the ship to avoid a fine.

Weed Killer

Weed Killer is a special item used to destroy Vain Shrouds. As you keep spritzing them, they will get smaller and smaller until there is nothing left of them. Whatever is in that spray bottle doesn't work directly on the Kidnapper Fox, however. You can also use up the entire bottle, so don't go around wasting it.

Company Cruiser

The Company Cruiser is the first vehicle to be added to Lethal Company. This car has a storage space that you can use to transfer items from the facility back to your ship. It can be useful, but it is pretty difficult to handle. It doesn't help that most maps aren't exactly driveable, with lots of hills and trees. This is especially the case when the moons are flooded.

The car can be purchased for 400 at the ship's store. You can't order anything else with this shipment, or it won't be delivered. It's quite a bit of money to invest, but don't worry; it won't appear on only one moon. if you survive and want to take your car to the next moon, all you have to do is bring it up to the magnet and then turn it on with the switch. The car will be attached to the ship, and you can continue working.
