Lethal Company has been steadily getting big monster and moon updates, as well as new items in the shop, but Version 55 will bring what looks like the best update of them all: a company cruiser.
According to the teaser trailer on Zeekerss' YouTube channel, Lethal Company Version 55 will launch on June 25, 2024, or sooner. I'm really hoping that it's sooner rather than later because I would love to get that car as soon as possible and drift around all of the moons. I already see myself driving off a cliff, so I hope the car is durable (though I wouldn't mind dying if it's in an epic explosion).
So far, there is no information on how you will obtain the car in the game. Usually, all items and ship upgrades are bought from the store at the terminal, so we can assume that the car will also be purchasable. It will also probably cost quite a bit of money, as this seems more like a late-game update rather than something you should have from the start.
The car will be very useful for transporting loot quickly back to the ship, especially if it has lots of storage space in the trunk. It could also be very useful for surviving when the sun goes down and all of the night monsters start roaming the moons looking to kill you.
As there aren't that many details yet, we can only make assumptions on how the cruiser will be integrated into the game. What's important is that you can definitely dance on the roof of the car. But what I really want to know is if we will get the 'Paint me like one of your French' girls pose as an emote. It would definitely add to the hilarity of the game, especially if you get killed while using it.
Apart from the car, Version 55 will likely have other major content. You can most likely expect some new monsters, as one or two are usually added with each version. I would also love to see new outfits in the game in time for summer (looking cool improves my work efficiency by at least 300%, so the company should really invest in that).
