Lethal Company ending explained

Despite many rumors circling around the internet, there is no known ending to the Lethal Company campaign at this moment. According to the game's developer, Zeekerss, despite the game being finished, it is still far from realizing its full potential. According to the official developer statement found on the game's Steam page, the plan is to complete the game by April 2024, depending on the players' reactions to it, and it will remain in the early access phase until they are satisfied with it.

The developer's expose leads me to believe there is a strong chance for Lethal Company to get an ending, or at least some sort of an end-game event, concluding the story or at least explaining some mysterious aspect of the game. The moment we find out more about this, we will update this page; in the meantime, keep an eye out on the patch notes to track the developer's progress on the game.
