Spot Turrets!

Turrets are one of many threats when trying to find scrap to sell in Lethal Company. Luckily, I made this guide to explain how you can spot turrets.

How to spot and disable Turrets in Lethal Company

There are two ways you can spot Turrets in Lethal Company. The first method is to spot one manually by scanning using the right mouse button. However, I don't recommend relying solely on this method. In short, you may not scan the turret in time before it starts shooting at you. Because of this, the best method for spotting Turrets is to have someone watching the Terminal Monitor.

In short, someone viewing another player who is scavaging can see more via the Terminal Monitor map. One of these things they can see better than players on the ground is Turrets. Turrets on the Monitor map are noticeable red triangles with a red field of fire indicator. You can also see a letter/number like b3 over the turrets that mark their locations.

I recommend using these indicators to call out and help whoever is scavaging avoid them. You can also temporarily disable Turrets using the Terminal. To use the Terminal Monitor, you need to use a Terminal Command. Type View Monitor and then Switch inside the Terminal to use the Monitor and watch whoever is scavenging for scrap.

How to disable turrets in Lethal Company

To disable a turret in Lethal Company, you must use the Terminal Radar. To disable a Turret using the Monitor, type the letter/number shown above the red triangle that marks where a Turret is. However, using the Terminal Monitor to disable Turrets does not disable them permanently. Instead, the Turret will only be offline for a short amount of time. You can tell how long the Turret will remain disabled by a green bar under the Turret on the Terminal Monitor.

You can also disrupt Turrets by smacking them with a Stop Sign or Shovel. Disrupting Turrets causes them to fire uncontrollably, making it useful to kill enemies chasing you.
