It's inevitable that you will end up facing a Hoarding Bug after stealing their loot. Below, you'll find everything you need to know to beat the Hoarding Bug in Lethal Company.
How to survive the Hoarding Bug in Lethal Company
In general, it isn't too difficult to survive a Hoarding Bug in Lethal Company. First, you need to know these monsters don't attack on sight like Forest keepers or other monsters. Instead, these bugs go around the map collecting loot just like you. When you run into them, they usually just chitter at you and back off.
However, the Hoarding Bugs will become aggressive if you stay in their territory too long. That's because they take all of their loot back to their hoard, and they will defend it to death. So long as you avoid them and their scrap hoard, you will be fine.
Now, if you're desperate to meet the quota and need to rob the Hoarding Bug's loot, you better grab it and run away towards the exits. They are fast, but you can make it, especially if you have a stun grenade or a zap gun to slow them down. If you can't escape, the only other option is to kill them.
Can you kill Hoarding Bug in Lethal Company?
Yes, you can kill Hoarding Bugs in Lethal Company. Every time they steal something from me that I stole from the facility first, I feel the injustice and the rage growing. However, taking on any creature in Lethal Company is risky, as an untimely death can cost your team money. If the Hoarding Bug has some particularly valuable loot, however, it may be worth the risk.
How to kill Hoarding Bug in Lethal Company
Like all the other killable monsters in Lethal Company, you can kill a Hoarding Bug with a melee weapon like a shovel or a street sign. They don't take a lot of hits to kill, but neither do you, so you need to take precautions to avoid dying.
If the bugs become aggressive, run away to gain some space. This will give you time to throw a stun grenade at the bug. Look away so you don't blind yourself, too—I'm speaking from experience. If you have bought the zap gun, you can use it to stun them, too.
The other free solution is to climb a railing and start hitting the Hoarder bugs with a shovel. Luckily for us, many of the monsters in Lethal Company don't know how to hit up. Feel free to steal their loot as soon as they are dead, as they can't complain.
