How to get the Radar Booster in Lethal Company

You can get the Radar Booster by spending 50 credits inside the Store menu page in the Terminal. To buy the Radar Booster, type Radar Booster and Confirm. You also don't need to visit the store page and can buy the Booster by typing it directly into the Terminal console.

It seems that you can get as many Radar Boosters as you want or as many as the amount of credits you have allows. Every Booster you buy will get a randomized name or a name plus number if the names start repeating.

How to use the Radar Booster in Lethal Company

To use the Radar Booster, press the left mouse button to turn it on and then the G key to place it. Then, you can use the Radar Booster in several different ways.

First, you can place it near any Main Entrances or Fire Escapes in Lethal Company. Once placed, someone watching that Radar Booster on the Monitor can ping it to play a sound that players can use to locate entrances. Just type in 'ping' and 'name of the Booster' to activate. The Radar can be seen on the Monitor just like any other player, and you can recognize them by name.

Since Radar Boosters are visible like the rest of your teammates, you can also use them to keep an eye on certain areas through the Monitor. This way, you'll know if there are monsters in the area where the Booster is placed. You can see any locked security doors and open them when a crew member is near.

You can also use the Radar Booster's Ping feature along with the Flash feature that was implemented in v45 of Lethal Company. The robotic hello and tune can attract enemies that react to sound. It's smart to use the Ping feature when there are a lot of monsters visible. This way, you'll keep them off your crew members while also setting them up for the Flash.

The Flash feature is an update that came in with Lethal Company v45. When you type in 'flash' and 'name of Booster', you will activate a flash stun that will stun any enemies nearby. Keep in mind, just like with the stun grenades, you can also flash and stun yourself or your friends. This can get you killed so be careful how you use it. Or if you want to mess with your friends, use this feature while the Radar is in their hands.

As you can get many Radar Boosters, you can place them all across the map and use them in any way you want. Just make sure you have someone on the monitor on the ship, or they will be pretty useless. The light that turns on will be the only useful thing to track in that case.

Is the Radar Booster worth it in Lethal Company?

The Radar Booster is an excellent and worthwhile alternative to the Boombox as it does not require recharging its battery. With the update and additional Flash feature, the Radar Booster is definitely wth it, with the ability to locate entrances, watch areas, and attract and stun monsters.
