How to get and use the Teleporter in Lethal Company

Is it useful?

You can purchase many valuable items and ship upgrades in Lethal Company. One such ship upgrade I bought was the Teleporter, but understanding how to use it and the best way to get it is unclear.

How to get the Teleporter in Lethal Company

To get the Teleporter in Lethal Company, you must make enough money to purchase it from the Terminal Store Menu for 375 credits. You can earn enough by gathering enough items that sell for 100 or higher daily before the quota deadline ends. The best way to go about farming items is to have at least one other player with you. The other player can watch the Terminal Radar and help you navigate the abandoned facilities more quickly. Players on the radar can see items on the map marked by green triangles and point out hostiles and traps. Your friend can also escape with any loot on the ship should you die while scavenging.

We also recommend avoiding selling any items until the quota deadline reaches zero. When the quota deadline reaches zero, all items in Lethal Company sell for their maximum amount (100 percent sell price). Items sold before the quota deadline only sell for half their amount, so it's best to wait until the last day.

Once you earn at least 375 credits from farming items, you can purchase the Teleporter by accessing the Terminal Store. To access the terminal store, press E, type store, and hit enter. After hitting enter, scroll down, type Teleporter, and press enter. Next, you must type confirm to purchase the Teleporter.

How to use the Teleporter in Lethal Company

To use the Teleporter in Lethal Company, you must walk up to a button next to the ship controls and press E. Pressing E removes a glass covering on the Teleporter button, which teleports whoever the Terminal Radar is monitoring when pressed. You can change who gets teleported by switching the Terminal Radar's camera. To change the Terminal Radar camera, type View Radar and then Switch inside the Terminal computer. When players get teleported, they lose all items on their character. The Teleporter also has a 10-second cooldown after being used.

Is the Teleporter worth it in Lethal Company?

Overall, the Teleporter is a valuable tool when players are in danger from hostile entities. Beyond escaping enemies, the Teleporter is not helpful for anything like Fast Travel. In short, you can't use the Teleporter to move items quickly, as you lose all items when teleporting.
