It's been a while since Lethal Company has gotten an update, but the wait is finally over. Everyone say thank you to R.E.P.O. for inspiring Zeekerss to get back to working on Lethal Company as we now have the v70 update.
Surprisingly, the game didn't go to the beta branch first, but instead went directly to live, which means that everyone can enjoy the revamps and new content. Here's everything you can check out in the game right now.
What Is the Giant Sapsucker?
While in an earlier tweet Zeekerss had mentioned possibly adding two new monsters, v70 has only seen the addition of one, the Giant Sapsucker. The Giant Sapsucker is a new outside creature added in Lethal Company v70 that most commonly spawns on Vow. If you're someone like me who enjoys terrorizing the bees and getting the beehive, rejoice because the Giant Sapsucker is also protecting its nest of eggs that you can grab for loot.
New Reworks in Lethal Company v70
One big visual overhaul you'll see is to the radar in the ship. The goal of this rework is to bring the radar up to the standard of the rest of the game. The line that leads from player to exit will definitely be useful to help your teammates navigate back safely outside (without getting lost or killed).
There's more furniture added to the game for your ship as well:
- Fridge
- Sofa chair
- Dog House
- Microwave
- Electric Chair
The Mansion interior has also finally been reworked, with new rooms for you to explore, interactables, cabinets, etc. I do like the other layouts, but the Mansion provides the most fun challenge (especially since it's usually on high level moons).
The Company Cruiser has gotten a durability update. This means that it is now more of a rally car and less something that will break as soon as you hit a tree or rock. I will definitely be going wild with it across all maps.
Sigurd's logs will also get a rework, making them more like rare scrap in interiors of maps. This update is still incoming, but you can find a new log called Team Synergy on Artifice.
The best part of the update, however, is the fact that it's not the only one. There will be multiple updates with interior adjustments as well as new creatures leading to taking the game out of Early Access. As someone who spent many hours in the game since it's come out, I'm looking forward to finding out what else is coming.
