The Tulip Snake wants to hug you with its wings, but the newly-introduced Barber just wants to give you a fresh haircut with its scissors... kind of. The Barber is an interesting monster inside the facility with a unique mechanic that can catch you off guard.
New Monster in Lethal Company v55 update
Zeekers, the developer of Lethal Company, has added version 55 to the beta branch, which you can access through Steam. The update will probably go live for all players in a few weeks, but until then, beta branch users can enjoy some of the new monsters in the game, like the Barber.
The Barber, or Clay Surgeon, is a new Lethal Company monster to come out with version 55. This isn't your friendly neighborhood Barber, however, unless you are looking to get cut in half.
These monsters don't show up much on the lower-end moons, so if you are just starting a run, chances are you're not going to run into one. However, the moons like Rend are now getting another dangerous Killer. The longer you work for the company, the more dangerous each trip becomes.
The Clay Sugeon adds to the fear of exploring moons, especially as this monster will instantly kill you. The fact they're invisible also won't help with any anxiety you have while exploring these moons. I have already been killed by visible monsters and traps, so running away from this monster is quite the challenge. The sound of its trumpet steps is quite hilarious, though.
On top of this inside monster, there is also an outside monster that will be causing you trouble if you aren't careful. If you stick around on a moon for too long, the Kidnapper Fox will build up the courage to attack you with its tongue, trying to eat your head.
The Fox will show up on both lower and higher-level moons, so you can't avoid them. If you see a Vain Shroud anywhere, watch out. Just remember to look around you both inside and outside in Lethal Company.
