While playing Lightyear Frontier, ruins can be explored to uncover Artifacts for information on the location and new recipes. In this guide, I'll walk you through finding all the Artifacts hidden in the Ancient Ruins of Pine Heights.
Where to find all Artifacts in Ancient Ruins
Artifacts in Lightyear Frontier are scattered throughout ruins, and can easily be mined with your pickaxe or your mech's Spike Saw.
First Artifact
The first Artifact in the Ancient Ruins area is found near the front door of the ruins. It sits atop a fallen metal pipe slightly to the left of the door.
Second Artifact
The second Artifact is found on one of the pillars near the front door. Approach the front door and exit your mech. Climb the rocks on the left to reach this Artifact.
Third Artifact
The third Artifact lies in a small structure to the left of the second Artifact. The structure has a rectangular entrance on its right side leading directly to the Artifact.
Fourth Artifact
Artifact four is found in the lower-left corner of the area. It is slightly hidden behind a wall but rests beneath the fifth and sixth Artifacts.
Fifth and sixth Artifacts
The fifth and sixth Artifacts can be easily spotted above the fourth Artifact while in your mech.
To reach the fifth Artifact, climb the rock and cross the metal bridge. The Artifact will be right in front of you.
Continue to follow the path for a few meters. The sixth Artifact will be on top of a rocky surface on the left.
Seventh Artifact
The seventh Artifact is found in this large separate building. It can be entered through a broken gap in the glass wall.
After entering through the gap, head left into the next room. The seventh Artifact will be in the back right corner.
Eighth and ninth Artifacts
The final two Artifacts are found within a small cave. The cave's entrance is located between the seventh and fourth Artifacts.
The eighth Artifact is easily seen on top of the rocks at the edge of the cave. Climb up the rocks on the left side to reach it.
The ninth and final Artifact is hidden in the opposite corner of the cave.
Once all of the fragments have been collected, Piper will discover what the location was built for. She will also give you the Strange Table crafting recipe.
