Where to find Aluminum Bar in Lightyear Frontier
To unlock the Aluminum Bar, you need to cleanse the Pine Heights area first by washing away the purple blobs. After that, you can discover Aluminum Bars in the ravine right of the entrance to Pine Heights. Aluminum Bars are necessary for many advanced constructions, such as Merchant Lander.
How to restore Pine Heights in Lightyear Frontier
Pine Heights is an area in the northwest part of the map. When you first arrive there, it's barren, with few trees and a lot of purple blobs scattered all around. Those are Noxious Slimes, and you have to remove all of them to restore Pine Heights. To do that, you need an Irrigation Hose, which is your watering tool.
Before you start washing away the Noxious Blobs, make sure to refill your water tank. Find a body of water, then switch to your Vacuum Harvester and suck the water out until your tank is full. Then switch to Irrigation Hose and move around to find Noxious Slimes. Once you see them, wash them until they disappear with a pop. That will fulfill a scale in the upper part of the screen a bit and increase the percentage of cleared area. Once you wash away all the blobs, Pine Heights will be cleaned.
How to unlock Aluminum Bars in Lightyear Frontier
The effect of cleaning won't be seen until the next day, so you won't be able to find Aluminum Bars right after you cleaned the Pine Heights. After a good night's sleep you'll see an animation with Red Crystals and Aluminum Bars unlocked. Go back to Pine Heights, and once you see the gate, go right. Once you see Red Crystals, go down the path into the ravine. Once in the ravine, go left and check the left side of the road. You'll notice silvery metal bars. Those are Aluminum Bars, and you can harvest them with your Spike Saw.
