Kazuma Kiryu

Kazuma Kiryu is the main protagonist of the Yakuza series Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. At the end of Yakuza 6, Kiryu faked his death, gave up his family, and erased his name to become Joryu, an agent of the Daidoji faction. However, events have begun threatening to bring the former legendary yakuza out of the shadows and embrace his past again.

Kihei Hanawa

• Portrayed By: Hiroki Tochi

Kihei Hanawa is a Kiryu's handler and a member of the Daidoji faction. He is Kiryu's point of contact with the outside world and handles his mission assignments. Hanawa has a cold and professional approach to his work and how he interacts with Kiryu. Despite this, Hanawa has some importance to Kiryu.

Head Priest

• Portrayed By: Ikkyu Juku

The head of the temple Kiryu resides at and is one of the few individuals Kiryu confides in. The old priest enjoys playing Go by himself and isn't afraid to lecture Kiryu on the state of his training. Perhaps there is more to the Head Priest than meets the eye.

Kosei Shishido

• Portrayed By: Yasukaze Motomiya

Kosei Shishido is a Watase Family lieutenant under the Omi Alliance. He is an intimidating warrior who shows little care for human life and is not afraid to resort to violence in any situation. He is often seen wearing a Hannya mask when working for the Watase Family.

Yuki Tsuruno

• Portrayed By: Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi

Yuki Tsuruno is a captain of the Watase Family and its second highest-ranking member. He is a meticulous planner and uses bold actions to ensnare Kiryu in an attempt for the former yakuza to reveal and return to his past. He leads the Watase Family in the absence of its true leader.

Yoshimura

• Portrayed By: Mitsuaki Kanuka

Yoshimura is a ruthless and violent manager of the Daidoji faction. His loyalty to the clan comes before everything else, and he is not afraid to turn on those who threaten the clan's safety and security. He is openly contempt of Kiryu and dislikes him.

Akame

• Portrayed By: First Summer Uika

Akame is a young woman but has made a name for herself as a jack-of-all-trades underbelly figure. Her shadowy reputation and information network allow her to gather and sell information while supporting the homeless and less fortunate of Sotenbori, Osaka. She also acts as an intermediary for criminal organizations.

Homare Nishitani III

• Portrayed By: Kim Jaeuck

A young yakuza, Homare Nishitani III, rose through the ranks and became the leader of the Kijin Clan. He is a handsome but mad fighter who isn't afraid to risk his life in a fight to the death. His influence puts him on par with the Watase Family in the Omi Alliance.

Boss

• Portrayed By: Hiroshi Naka

Boss is a mysterious high-ranking officer in the Daidoji faction. Despite his wheelchair-bound status, he wields immense power within the Daidoji faction, even capable of demanding Kiryu to keep his pact with the clan. Aside from this, not much is known about the man.
