The Unreadable Memo is a note you find early on within the game, but it leaves Ellie stumped for a while. The memo could be the key to saving the village, so here's how to get Ellie to read the note and help unravel the mystery in Little Witch in the Woods.

How to complete Unreadable Memo Quest in Little Witch in the Woods

You'll need to make an Enhance Intellect Potion to read the memo. Before you can get the recipe for the potion, though, you'll need to speak with Diane. Make sure the memo is in your inventory and find Diane outside the Witch's home. Speak with her about the memo, and she will tell you that the Enhance Intellect Potion will increase Ellie's intelligence enough to read the ancient language.

How to get and make the Enhance Intellect Potion

To learn the Enhance Intellect potion, you'll need 10 Luna Coins and to purchase the scroll for the recipe from the Witch Catalog. Once you get the scroll, open your inventory and click on it so Ellie can learn the recipe. After this, collect the supplies for the recipe (you'll need the roaster operational for this potion). Make the ingredients, then drink the potion. Make sure the memo is in your inventory when you drink the potion, as Ellie will then immediately read the memo in a cutscene. She and Virgil will discuss the text and reveal the secret recipe.
