The Tournament of Souls event update is one of the best to arrive in League of Legends for a long time. Since its launch, I have been in love with the game mode due to its in-depth combat mechanics that constantly require you to test and customize your loadouts according to the gameplay style of your enemy, keeping the gameplay fresh and unique instead of simply smashing the buttons. On that note, if you have reached the final stage.
But if you are struggling to defeat the extremely punishing God's Eye Viego character, you have come to the right page. To beat God's Eye Viego character in Tournaments of Soul, you must equip the Blade Drain ability and try to out-heal his insane damage-based attacks.
How to Defeat God's Eye Viego in League of Legends Tournament of Souls - Expert Mode
Before entering into a battle with God's Eye Viego, equip the following loadout:
- Q Ability: Piercing Precision
- W Ability: Blade Drain
- E Ability: Severe Strike
- R Ability: Chaotic Daybreak
The primary combo for the entire match will be E -> Q -> W -> Q -> E -> Q -> R. While applying this combo, make sure you are not using it during his armor buff period, as your attacks will receive less damage, turning your powerful skills useless. So, wait for his buff to get over by watching the health bar. After using the above combo a total of two times, he will start stealing your HP bars, turning them into a violet color.
During these low HP intervals, follow the above regular combo. But, ensure to line up your Q while he uses his Scythe. If you don't do that, you will not break his shield, resulting in your death. When he steals your HP bar for the second time, follow the same steps of using Q and your ultimate R whenever required. When his HP reaches below 40%, he will start changing forms into characters. Be calm and use your combo. Break shields by using Q whenever possible, and finish him using any of your abilities at the end.
