Island Souls are the second most plentiful collectible in Lost Ark, with 100 to find dotted across most of the islands in the game. The way you collect them is incredibly varied. Some are as simple as completing a few fetch-and-deliver quests, while others follow a complex string of tasks ending in needing to max out your Rapport with an NPC. Here, we’ll explain how to get the Atlas Island Soul in Lost Ark.
Where is the Lost Ark Atlas Island Soul?
In one respect, getting the Lost Ark Atlas Island Soul is simple. All you actually have to do is buy it from a vendor. However, where and when you can find the vendor is another matter. As is the not insignificant cost of 16,800 Pirate Coins. There are three vendors on Atlas Island, each selling different items. You’re looking for the Black Marketeer who also sells the Overwhelm skill rune. When you find him in any of his locations (marked by red circles on the map above), he will always have the Island Soul in stock if you haven’t yet bought it, under the Special Sales tab.
There is no guarantee the merchant will be at one of these spots though. If he's not, you may have to wait an hour for them to appear—but not longer than that. Make sure to check all three spots on each visit.
Be warned: Atlas is an always-on PvP island. Luckily, on most servers, Lost Ark isn’t the kind of game where players get ganked. It's likely that you’ll be able to walk around and not be attacked by other players, although there are also some pirate mobs to look out for. It is also worth noting that another of the island's Black Marketeers sells the Sixth Giant Heart.
