Spin Squad! Tier List & Reroll Guide (Lucky Offense December 2025)

Our Spin Squad! tier list is here to help you decide on the best offense strategy!

Let's take a look at the ranking of all units in our Spin Squad, previously named Lucky Offense tier list! This mobile strategy game brings lightweight gameplay to the table that is easy to pick up but gets increasingly difficult to master with every passing wave. While it may seem straightforward that Mythic units are the best there are in the game, their value is much more nuanced.

Updated 11/11/2025. Followed up on the unit changes, added Spinner, Arin, Munie, Penking, Blob, and Rocket-Chu.

All Characters Ranked - Lucky Offense Tier List

Does the presence of Bandit King and MushKing imply the existence of a mecha-type king, or could it be the Rocket-Chu..? Existential questions aside, our tier list will show you how to decide on the best units for the gameplay. Of course, provided you chance upon relics that complement them during the game. The developers of much beloved Lucky Defense made sure that the roster is full of fun unit kits. Some of the in-game mechanisms changed quite a bit since the big overhaul and rebrand of the game's name, but the essence is still there, and you won't be too lost even if you're coming back into the game after a while.

S Tier Characters - Best Units in Lucky Offense

Our S tier Spin Squad units are the best of the best. You'll need very little else for a winning combination in a run.

CharacterPros & Cons

Mecharomancer
Mythic, Mage
+ On ULT, summons melee mechabots that are stronger than some standalone melee units
+ Low ULT cost for extra summons
+ Zaps the targets with regular and AoE attacks, big range, mid attack speed
+ Multiple Mecharomancer copies give access to Super mechabots, then Hyper mechabots, and multiple enhancements for them that enhance their endurance and damage
- May take time to summon the critical mass of bots, so a strong tank for support is necessary

Meow
Mythic, Mage
+ A strong skill that can teleport attacks straight into the enemy lines to wreak max havoc
+ Super strong ULT attack
+ Strong HP stat for a mage type for extra durability, fast movement, mid range, mid attack speed
+ Multiple copies of Meow turn most of his skills to homing bullets which improve his accuracy
- RNG element makes it difficult to predict the definitive target of an attack

Dragon
Mythic, Generalist
+ Jack of all trades with super high HP and ATK, homing in to a random location at the beginning of the battle
+ Multiple attack buffs that come into play quickly and chaotically
+ Dragon's extra copies enhance his basic attack, dive attack, the way skills' incineration effects work, and ultimately turn his ULT into devastating fireballs and explosions
- Requires one of all three Legendary units to be merged, super slow

War Machine
Legendary, Tank
+ A Legendary rarity Tank, means that it's significantly easier to obtain him than the Mythic counterparts, plus can group up with its copies in a tile
+ Huge total HP pool when grouped up for super tankiness
+ A chance to stun enemies when hit
- ATK may as well not exist
Spinner Lucky Offense
Spinner
Mythic, Melee
+ A very well rounded unit, Spinner recovers 10% of health on every kill, his ATK SPD is decent, and he's there to consistently deal damage
+ The ULT ability enhances his basic attack speed, turning him into a pummeling machine, and Breakthrough enhancements further emphasize this
+ The last Breakthrough enhancement allows Spinner to charge to enemy backlines and obliterate them
- If you're in need of high damage burst attacks to deal with bosses, you may be in trouble relying just on him

Carter
Mythic, Tank
+ Special linking skill for the unit directly behind him, providing damage reduction, heals, mana recovery share, HP and ATK boost galore for self and the linked unit
+ Largest HP pool in the game

- Unless linked to an ATK beast, his own ATK is negligent
Lucky Offense Kitty Mage
Kitty Mage
Mythic, Support
+ Excellent support type unit, medium range attacks with high ATK
+ Huge buff to the whole team in the form of 40% attack speed
+ A chance to deliver a Kitty Punch to an enemy that turns into three enemy attack at Lv.12
- Biggest benefit comes from being a second or third Mythic summoned, MP restoration is useless if no one has MP skills
Arin Lucky Offense
Arin
Mythic, Generalist
+ Arin's ULT ability is a splash damage orb that gets stunning 40% more power with each next cast
+ Her passive is a great survivability and boost buff, which allows her to restore 5% of her max HP and 5MP every time she deals damage with basic attack or skill
+ Her range is great, and her Breakthroughs further introduce buffs for her stats, Charm debuffs enemies, as well as healing debuffs on final Breakthrough, making her perhaps the best long-term investment in the game
- The ULT fires at a random target, and takes a lot of MP to wind up again, but the latter is offset by her MP restoration passive

A Tier Characters

The A Tier for Lucky Offense consists of pretty good units worthy of investment. They are especially great if you can pair them with those specific relics for a chance to shine.

CharacterPros & Cons

Princess
Mythic, Tank
+ On ULT, summons tank Phantom Knight to taunt enemies
+ The summons stun nearby enemies on defeat, while it also restores Princess' health
- The summons' stats are low and they aren't really able to tank more hits where it matters, making it an inconsistent tanking method

Clint
Mythic, Range
+ ULT has low mana cost and winds him up for incrementally bigger damage every time he ULTs
+ Very high ATK stat with the biggest range in the game
- Slow attack speed means he will need way too long to wind up to full damage potential

Chef
Mythic, Melee
+ Berserker type unit which restores health when he defeats targets for some self-sustainability
+ Gains ATK and ATK SPD on own health lost
- The overall experience doesn't really justify the investment into a Mythic merge where you could instead have a stack of Sheriffs

Punk
Mythic, Range
+ Big range, big attack speed, further increases range on kills, disengage buff on HP drop once per wave
+ Bonus attack speed buffs when leveled
- Weak HP means he might get one-shot if caught, ATK could be better, relies on spamming attacks

Scar
Mythic, Tank
+ Main source of damage scales off HP, which is good for a tank
+ Damage reduction buffs for extra durability
- ULT can't really be timed on bigger targets so the bite refresh passive isn't as useful, HP could be bigger for scaling

Daner
Mythic,Support
+ Excellent healer for any number of ally units, grants damage reduction
+ Long range means he can stay out of majority of harm's way, given there's a tank in the front
- The only buff worth mentioning since the multiple-copy enhancement on Daner is the debuff removal and he obtains it the last, which makes it a very expensive upgrade
- Requires sacrificing one War Machine and two Hunters to merge, all he does is heal
Penking Lucky Offense
Penking
Mythic, Support
+ Penking is a crowd control support unit who helps handle, control, and damage both mob and boss levels, and the Breakthrough enhancements work well with the base kit
+ His ULT ability allows him to freeze 2 farthest unfrozen enemies, a crowd control status that will deal damage to all enemies around it upon expiration
- His attacks are slow and his ULT charges for a long time, so it's best not to expect of him to carry less powerful mercenaries
- Requires the sacrifice of a War Machine and two Eagle Generals
Munie Lucky Offense
Munie
Mythic, Mage
+ Munie is a mage who specializes in dealing damage to enemy backlines, then slipping into stealth, which allows her to somewhat stay off the enemy radar when it gets hairy
+ Her first Breakthrough introduces a great stackable buff that allows her to grow both her max HP and ATK values with every passing battle
- Her kit is overall pretty good, but the highest and most expensive Breakthrough has an RNG element to what is supposed to be an ultimate upgrade

B Tier Characters

Units in B tier all bring something to the table. However, the drawbacks indicate your team must rely on someone more powerful in the long run.

CharacterPros & Cons

Bandit King
Mythic, Support
+ Good early game Mythic, and you get him for free, buffs team Crit Rate and own HP, ATK based on how many Bandits there are in the team
+ The multiple copy enhancements Bandit King gains are solid, still gold-related, and complement his kit well, with more coins dropping, and his damage output scaling even better off them
- Unless boosted by Bandits, squishy especially because he is melee

Mush King
Mythic, Mage
+ Prioritizes poisoning unpoisoned targets, but poison also stacks and transfers to other targets if they die when poisoned, good range, super low mana requirement
+ Poison can now stack even further with the Breakthrough enhancements, but overall it doesn't do much for the Mush King for the price it takes
- Total damage takes time to stack up, there is an upper cap on bosses

Good-Gun
Mythic, Range
+ Good range, decent attack speed, relies on spam attacks
+ Good-Gun's Breakthrough brings bonus damage in the form of extra bullets, enhanced ability durations and similar, but the whole kit doesn't benefit all too much
- ATK buffs are there but take time to kick in, overall medicore

Tiger Master
Legendary, Melee
+ Decent melee with ATK SPD buffs for adjacent tiles, AoE basic attacks, easier leveling and ability to stack
- Only so far he can go being Legendary

Electro Robot
Epic, Tank
+ This decent Epic tank, in stack, will provide much needed cover in early game and can stun on skill
- Slow and weak attack, basically non-existent
Blob Lucky Offense
Blob
Mythic, Range
+ Blob's range isn't really a stat, but on ULT it can summon splash damage goo anywhere on the field, which makes it good for dealing with any range
+ Its attacks amplify in strength the more enemies fall to its attacks, which is complemented by its attack speed, so it's suited to fight hordes of mobs
- Its damage to bosses or fewer enemies on the field like elites isn't really there
Rocket Chu Lucky Offense
Rocket Chu
Mythic, Range
+ This Mythic is obtained for free simply by playing Chapter 2 several times.
+ The multiple copy enhancements are pretty strong, and ability multipliers become sky-high
- Rocket-Chu's ULT ability is Overclock, which has great buffs for this, but ha 50% success rate until at least one Breakthrough is done on him, making it pretty useless without additional investment

C Tier Characters

The C tier units in Spin Squad are fine to keep around in early game, and can help you defeat some of the bulkier enemies.

CharacterPros & Cons

Ninja
Mythic, Melee
+ Good positioning and stealth ability for clearing hordes of weak targets, high movement speed
- The Ninja gains a super strong buff on obtaining maximum copies, but the activation circumstances are so situational you would likely never see it happen
- Super squishy for the position he's mostly in during the battle, not a boss-killer unless someone else is tanking and aggroing

Sheriff
Legendary, Mage
+ Good for attacking the back lines, with good range, super decent in a stack
- Can be underwhelming if alone

Hunter
Epic, Melee
+ He's labeled melee, but deals mid range damage that can easily get stronger when leveled and in a stack
- Attacks very slowly

Ranger
Rare, Range
+ Super cheap ranged option that can pepper the targets from the backlines, especially when stacked, great for early game
- Can't really help a lot as the game goes by

Eagle General
Epic, Range
+ Fast ranged damage, super nice in a stack,
- Damage is pointed towards random enemies

D Tier Characters

You'll be seeing the D tier units a lot, especially in the early game. They aren't the best but don't forget to upgrade them all the same! They can still provide you with support when you need it.

CharacterCharacter

Robo
Normal, Tank

Bandit
Normal, Melee

Mushroom
Normal, Range

Shock Robot
Rare, Tank

Tyrant Badger
Rare, Melee

Q: Is Spin Squad! the same as Lucky Offense?

A: Yes, Spin Squad! is just the new name. The game simply experienced a rebrand with some gameplay overhauls.

Q: How did Lucky Offense gameplay change in Spin Squad?

A: While the in-level mechanics remained the same, the most notable change is the fact that you don't start huge runs of many waves anymore, they are split into easier chunks of 20 waves. The downside is that you will have to rebuild your team from scratch every time in a new run.

Q: Who is the best unit to reroll for?

A: Currently, the best unit to reroll for is Arin, but you can consider keeping an account that pulls a Mecharomancer or a Meow as well.

Q: Who is the best unit in Spin Squad?

A: The best unit in Spin Squad is currently Arin.

Q: What is the best team in Spin Squad?

A: An example of what could be considered a best team composition is a well-rounded team such as Arin, Carter and Penking

Q: Can you still buy Mythics in Lucky Offense / Spin Squad?

A: No, buying Mythics out of the shop is not available anymore, and any mythic you want must be obtained out of the gacha. Additional copies of various units can be obtained through achievements that require using those units in battle.

Q: Is the free unit Rocket-Chu good?

A: Only at first Breakthrough. You should not use Rocket-Chu otherwise, as you're risking ruining your run.
